76 Upper Ground
Architect - AHMM (Allford Hall Monaghan Morris)
Lighting Designer - Speirs Major
76 Upper Ground is a prominent Grade II listed building located on the vibrant South Bank of the River Thames. Originally designed by renowned British architect Sir Denys Lasdun, it was completed in 1983 for IBM. The building is celebrated as Lasdun’s final major work and was conceived as a complementary structure to the nearby National Theatre, which he also designed.
The building has undergone a complete refurbishment led by AHMM (Allford Hall Monaghan Morris), transforming it into a low-carbon, modern office space while preserving its architectural heritage.
DAL worked with the architects and lighting designers (Speirs Major) to manufacture and supply a range of bespoke architectural feature lighting used in the spectacular double height entrance lobby.
